At the core of Cloud is creativity, community, and consciousness. What better way to tell our story than through the myriad of mycelial matters? Mushrooms, though an underground and stigmatized topic, are trending in mainstream awareness- and we believe it’s just in time.
An Exhibition & Program Dedicated to Mushrooms
Immersive experiences in art, music, lectures, workshops, and culinary events connecting experts and mycophiles alike.
-
In the first segment, we explore the intersection of fungi with art and music. This section features collaborations with artists Veronica Hodges, Geertje Geertsma, Cyanesense, Studio Cartier and Gerda Schimmel who will showcase works inspired by the mysterious and often surreal world of mushrooms. We will examine the role and interest in psychedelics for therapeutic purposes and creative inspiration, offering lectures and events that invite participants to engage with these powerful tools in a safe and informed manner.
-
In the second segment, visitors are guided into science, nutrition, and culinary arts. Participants will dive into mycology and the kingdom of fungi, their role in ecosystems, mental health, nutrition, and culinary arts. Highlights include lectures & workshops led by mycologists, intimate dinner experiences and a mushroom cocktail evening, offering a chance to savor the unique flavors of fungi while learning about their nutritional and therapeutic value.
-
The final part of our exhibition is dedicated to the innovative uses of fungi in design and sustainability. Fungi-based materials, such as mycelium and biodegradable packaging, are revolutionizing industries by offering eco-friendly alternatives to traditional materials. Through collaborations with companies like Studio Cartier, we will showcase how the fungi kingdom is inspiring new possibilities in architecture and product design. A workshop and lecture will provide hands-on experiences, empowering visitors to explore the sustainable potential of fungi in their own lives.
